2021 SILVERADO Cabernet Sauvignon

This is Fowler Wine's masterpiece wine of the vintage made from grapes grown right on the Silverado Trail. Bold, complex and fruity with smooth tannins, and a long pleasant lingering finish. This wine is balanced and in harmony- it is not overly hot with alcohol and too jammy like some Napa Cabernet wines can be. This wine is similar to our limited run of the 2020 Silverado Cab that sold out last year. However, it has benefitted from a little extra barrel ageing. This wine spent 19 months in one time use French Oak barrels. Plus, even though inflation has hit almost everywhere, I decided NOT to raise the price from last year. Still a steal at $29.99, considering if this exact wine were made in Napa, it would be almost $100 a bottle.  GOLD Medal Winner, 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
