2021 Meritage MMCS

Our Third and final Meritage blend of 2021. Aged 18 Months in French oak. This is made in the Right Bank Bordeaux style, so it is a little fruitier. However, I went ahead and added a generous amount of Malbec to this blend.  I would say it is not “typical” since Malbec today isn’t used as much in French Bordeaux. MMCS stands for Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, which makes up the blend from largest to smallest proportions. The Malbec gives this wine a great purple color and fruit. 13.3% alcohol by volume.
